We offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for men and women of all levels
and ability from novices with no previous experience to the most
advanced practitioners of the art.
Because BJJ is not a “striking” art, size, power, strength, or athleticism
are not pre-requisites for success in learning and applying BJJ
techniques. At Kimura BJJ Boston, our training programs are designed
to teach students the necessary skills that can be used for both self-
defense and for sport.
Advanced Classes:
Our Advanced classes are structured to hone and refine the skills
students learn at the beginner level and further develop their
technique to a level of mastery. All advanced classes are open to our
students ranked Blue Belt or higher and offer an outstanding
opportunity for both developing and advanced practitioners to benefit
by training together. For those students with an interest in competing
there are opportunities in all Kimura classes to train and prepare for
competition. We are extremely proud of our record of success in BJJ
competition and Kimura students are widely recognized in the
tournament world as being extremely well prepared and possessing a
never quit attitude. No competition team better exemplifies team unity
